Bikanervala, the foodservice chain offering a mix of quintessential Indian snacks and quick meals from across regional cuisines, is to expand aggressively across north, west and south of India over the next year, says CEO Suresh Goel.
Goel was speaking at the sidelines of the opening of the chain’s 55th outlet, which was unveiled at Jaipuria Mall, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad on December 18.
Offering its distinctive mix of traditional Indian sweets, snacks and pan-Indian cuisine, Bikanervala has outlets spread across India, Nepal, UAE and New Zealand.
The company, which ISO 22000:2005, HACCP and SQF2000CM certifications, also retails private label products under the Bikano brand, which are also exported around the globe.
Bikanervala managing director Shyam Sunder Aggarwal noted, “We are focusing on promoting India and Indian heritage, culture and cuisine worldwide, with customised Indian food for the global market.”
Goel added, “The Indirapuram outlet is our 15th in Uttar Pradesh itself. Our new outlet will further strengthen our footprint in the state and connect the brand with new age consumers.”
