Delhi-based fashion designer Pia Pauro hopes to triple her brand’s presence internationally and also plans to tap the online space by creating an e-commerce website for her eponymous brand. Pauro, a graduate from the London School of Fashion said, “I aim to reach new summits of growth by hopefully tripling my brand’s availability internationally. In an endeavour to achieve this target, I’m also planning to launch my e-commerce website, which will make my label more accessible to my discerning customers across the globe.” For the Indian market, the designer will continue to retail her prêt line and also create an India specific line Tara by Pia Pauro that includes Indian couture ensembles and separates.
Launched in 2012, her label, Pia Pauro is available in international stores across like Neiman Marcus, Anthropologie, Condor, Free People, Revolve, Kitson, Harvey Nichols, Mimosa, Pearl Drop, Smitten, Sauce, Mohrmann Basics and The Cove, in various countries. In India Pauro retails over 20 locations, Ogaan, Delhi; Rockabella, Delhi; White, Delhi; Twist, Delhi; Oak Tree, Mumbai; Kalyani, Goa; to name a few. The designer made her debut with Summer Resort 2012 collection at Lakme Fashion Week.
