Safexpress, one of the biggest supply chain and logistics firms in the country, recently unveiled its ultra-modern warehousing facility at Udaipur. Spanning over an area of 4500 sq feet, this ultra-modern logistics park is strategically located on NH 8.
The launch is in line with the company’s strategy of developing 32 ultra-modern Logistics Parks at key industrial hubs in India. Over the last couple of years, Safexpress has already launched several Logistics Park across India. Earlier this year, the company has set up two of its state-of-the art Logistics Parks in Faridabad and Dhule. The Logistics Park in Udaipur is the company’s third successful launch within this year.
Speaking about this launch, Pawan Jain, CMD, Safexpress said, “Udaipur, also known as the ‘Venice of East’, is a commercial hub of the world for handicrafts and marble mining. The important industrial minerals of the place are marble, emerald, lime stone and calcite, the transportation of which is very difficult. Udaipur holds vital importance due to its focal location.”
Pawan Jain further highlighted, “Supply chain & logistics has a very vital role to play in the growth of numerous industries spread across India. To provide world-class warehousing and logistics infrastructure to large number of industries in Rajasthan region, Safexpress has developed an ultra-modern facility at Udaipur, which will serve as a trans-shipment hub as well as a warehousing facility. Safexpress, with its Logistics Park at Udaipur, will bridge the infrastructure gaps and serve the supply chain & logistics requirements of the entire region.”
Jain added, “We have made a significant investment to set up this ultra-modern logistics infrastructure. This will help the industries in Udaipur and its surrounding region to have an access to our world-class supply chain & logistics services, which would contribute heavily in the economic growth of this entire region.”
Highlighting the USP of the Logistics Park at Udaipur, Jain said, “Our Logistics Park at Udaipur has a column-less span of over 90 feet and enables loading/unloading of several vehicles simultaneously. The Logistics Park has a floor load capacity of 6 metric tonnes per square meter and has a truck docking area width of over 40 feet. The dedicated bays and docks at our Logistics Park in Udaipur provide an uninterrupted and unidirectional flow of inbound and outbound goods. To provide safe & smooth movement of goods within the Logistics Park we have installed high-tech equipment. Moreover, to make our Logistics Park eco-friendly, we have taken special go-green initiatives by investing in rainwater harvesting and developing special green zones.”
Jain concluded by saying, “This Logistics Park will be operational 24×7, 365 days in a year to provide time-definite deliveries. Due to our non-stop operations, we will be providing the fastest transit time for deliveries all across India to over 610 destinations from Udaipur.”
