In a bid to beef up its portfolio, Food Krafters and Services LLP (FKS) has acquired Hyderabad House (HH), a brand famous for Hyderabadi ‘Kacche Ghost ki Biryani’ and other Deccan delicacies, for an undisclosed amount.
“The deal would serve Food Krafters to establish a firm foothold in the foodservice industry. Hyderabad House fits well into our scheme of things and we intend to grow and expand using this brand name,” FKS Managing Director Khalil Ahmed said in a company statement.
FKS intends to rebrand Hyderabad House in all new design, “with a view to provide traditional culinary experiences to its patrons in a semi QSR format,” Ahmed added.
HH currently has 40 outlets in the country and FKS plans to invest Rs 35 crore in the next two years to further open 50 outlets in the country, through a combination of company-owned and franchised outlets.
FKS said it would also bring on board a fresh team of expert professional chefs and traditional master chefs with rich and varied experience to prepare and offer the best food experience to its customers.
