The fifth edition of Kerala’s Food Processing and Packaging Exposition – FoodTech Kerala – kicks off at CIAL Exhibition Centre, Nedumbassery, Kochi, from May 14 to 16. The venue will also host the first ever exhibition on rice and grain processing – Rice and GrainTech Kerala – which is being held concurrently.
The event will showcase developments in technology in these sectors and will bring together technology players and suppliers, entrepreneurs and support services on a single platform. The latest technology and equipment for the processing of a wide range of food products will be on display. The exposition will also provide a platform for suppliers of processing, packaging and rice milling equipment.
The event is being supported by various trade associations as well as by the Department of Industries and is organised by Cochin-based India Exhibition and Conference Services Pvt Ltd, a multinational organisation that focuses on upgrading the trade fair business in South Asia.
The event is being organised in Kerala as the state is home to five of India’s Export Promotion/Commodity Boards including Spices Board, Coconut Development Board, Cashew Export Promotion Council, Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA) and Coir Board.
