Textile and apparel major Raymond has forayed into a new category with the launch of ‘Raymond Linen’ for summer 2015. According to a company statement, the new collection consists of the finest and purest linen fabrics that are natural, light-weight and comfortable, making it an ideal fabric for a tropical country such as India.
The new linen range is being presented in a wide expanse palette of colours and designs with a well complemented range for suiting and shirting at popular price points across the country.
Ram Bhatnagar, Vice President, Sales and Distribution, Raymond Limited said, “Linen is an internationally acclaimed fashion fabric and well suited for India due to our tropical climatic conditions. With our established leadership position in textiles and an increasing consumer preference for natural fabrics such as linen, Raymond is offering the widest range of 100% pure linen fabrics across suiting, shirting and trouser segments.”
The fabrics are available across all 750 Raymond Shops and over 1,000 MBOs in the country.
Earlier this week, Raymond also rebranded its bed and bath range of home furnishing products — launched back in 2013 — as Raymond Home to target Rs 100 cr revenues in FY16.
