A new pact between Cotton USA, the trademark ingredient brand of Cotton Council International (CCI) with Shoppers Stop, India’s largest retail chains of large format department stores in the country, aims at driving its market penetration, joint consumer promotion activities and increasing consumer awareness about the US cotton rich apparels in the Indian domestic market. The association of the two parties also look forward to help gradually move toward creating an exclusive line of labeled merchandise.

Shoppers Stop currently has 73 stores in 34 cities across the country in Ahmedabad, Agra, Amritsar, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chennai, Coimbatore, Chandigarh, Delhi to name a few. The one month long promotion will take place in five stores across Delhi/NCR (Rajouri and Noida), Mumbai (Malad and Vashi) and Bangalore (Malleshwaram).

Cotton Council International (CCI), in conjunction with the National Cotton Council of America, works to promote U.S. cotton exports through CCI which plays the lead role in educating and strengthening the market for U.S. cotton and U.S. cotton products around the world. Since 1989, over 50,000 product lines and three billion products have been assoacited with Cotton USA.
