WOW! Momo, the Kolkata-based QSR chain, claims to be the country’s largest momo chain in terms of volumes and turnover. Starting with one kiosk in 2008, the brand has been able to expand to 48 stores in five cities, with a strong presence in East and South India. Speaking on the outlet’s USPs, Sagar Daryani, CEO of WOW! Momo says, “Product innovation has always been our key to success. This was our first outlet in Chennai and our momos and their various variants/fusions have been extremely well accepted by the Chennai consumers. The pan fried momos, Sizzler momos and Momo Burgers are a big hit here.”
“Also, Phoenix Marketcity in Chennai provides one of the best mall experiences for customers in the country, in my opinion. When two good brand associates, the value creation is Wow!,” he asserts.
