DLF Promenade and DLF Emporio, two of the leading shopping centres of the country, have received 5 star certifications from the British Safety Council for adhering to world class safety and compliance standards in their malls.
The two DLF malls are the only shopping centres in Asia and Middle East to receive this prestigious honour from the British Safety Council. Further, DLF IS the only real estate organiSation in the world (in the commercial segment) to receive this 5 Star Certification and the Sword of Honor, the malls said in a statement.
“To receive this recognition in the safety standards space, by an authority like British Safety Council, is an award in itself. This Audit provides the basis for assessing and more importantly, helping to further improve and benchmark management systems. Such recognitions keep us motivated for a progressive tomorrow,” said Dinaz Madhukar, Senior VP & Mall Head, DLF Promenade and DLF Emporio.
In the recent past, DLF Promenade and DLF Emporio have won many accolades, including The Most Admired Shopping Centre of the Year: Per Sq. Ft Sales, for the former, at the IMAGES Shopping Centre Awards 2015, Best all-India Marketing Award, Best Mall of the Year and Best Retail (Mall) Building Design Award at the RR – Kabel Society Interiors Building Design Award, among others.
