Leading textile manufacturer Mafatlal Industries has appointed Aniruddha Deshmukh as company’s new chief executive (CEO) and managing director.
Mumbai-headquartered Mafatlal Industries has announced the appointment of Deshmukh on the company’s board as well as his elevation as company’s MD and CEO. Before joining Mafatlal, Deshmukh was President of the textiles division at Raymond Limited.
Earlier, on July 8, 2015, the company’s former MD and CEO, Rajiv Dayal had decided to opt for premature retirement and company had appointed Deshmukh as company’s chief operating officer (COO).
According to company’s announcement to the BSE, Deshmukh has taken over with effect from August 13, 2015.
