Joan Smalls launches new range of matte lipsticks for Estée Lauder

The Puerto Rican model, Joan Smalls introduced 12 new matte shades under the Pure Colour Envy Matte Sculpting Lipstick range for Estée Lauder. Smalls’ Met gala 2014 look created a furore when she sported a vivacious shade of violet on her lips at the event’s red carpet. The unexpected positive response on social networking site, Instagram for that look led to the future collaboration and launch of the new collection. Smalls reportedly said that texture is important so the focus is on matte variant instead of high-shine lipsticks and it’s all about self expression so one can chose from bold to subtle colours from the range, depending on the mood.
