Strands one of India’s biggest salon chain, celebrated its 10th anniversary in style and flamboyance on 4thOctober at JW Marriot Hotel in Chandigarh. It was a star studded affair with Bollywood and television divas like, Tulip Joshi, Kishwar Merchant and Roop Duggal walking the ramp. The occasion witnessed the iconic partnership between Strands and The Scissorman launched with fanfare by the doyen of Punjabi music, soul of many Bollywood chartbusters and the man behind The Scissorman, Alfaaz.
Love Book was unveiled with fanfare with the agenda of redefining the salon industry and connecting with people. Strands, today is a rising brand with 60 salons in 14 states across the nation. The brand has completely revolutionised the concept of franchising in India. Speaking on the occasion, Naunihal Singh, CEO and Founder of Strands said, “Today Strands announced it is ready to redefine the salon industry in humane ways where everyone wins”. Taking the legacy and brand triumph ahead Singh raised the bar by showcasing Vision 2020 of Strands which boasts of 500 salons by 2018 and plans of empowering 50,000 underprivileged girls as skilled salon professionals under the aegis of Strands Academy of Skill Development (SASD).
