The new system will greatly simplify the process for intercity transactions. Earlier, both buyers and sellers had to physically meet and exchange cash and goods after agreeing on a price on Quikr.
And online payments are not the only new feature. Quikr even picks up the product from the seller and delivers it to the buyer – much like how other e-comm majors operate.
Quikr gives the buyer the option to return a product on the spot to the delivery person if he/she is not satisfied with it. To prevent sellers from duping buyers, Quikr keeps the cash in an escrow account. The money is transferred to the seller only once the buyer has received, and is satisfied with the product.
