Tolexo, the online portal platform for good and supplies announced in a press release that it has hired Mayank Kamal (ex-logistics head, Myntra) as the head of its supply chain vertical.
An MBA from IIM-Lucknow, Kamal was taking care of the logistics, operations excellence and the training functions in Myntra. He assembled an in-house logistics team which included more than 3,500 people. They covered more than 80 towns and delivered around 100,000 parcels per day. To make payments easy for the customers, he introduced cashless exchange, easy returns and express delivery.
Regarding his joining Tolexo, Kamal said in a report of The Economic Times “Tolexo has firmly cemented its position as the ultimate destination for buying and selling business goods. I’m thrilled to come on board at this fast-scaling company and look forward to leveraging my experience to further build on its capabilities. Together, we are committed to making Tolexo the most customer-centric B2B firm in the country.”
