Reputation Institute, a reputation management consulting firm begun in 1997 and based in the US, has released a survey that puts Amazon at the top of the list of America’s most reputable companies. The list is based on consumer perceptions in USA.
This is the second year in a row that the online retail giant has retained the top slot. Other companies in the top ten list were – Hallmark, Samsung, Kellogg, Sony, Johnson & Johnson, Rolex, Intel, Netflix and Walt Disney Co.
RI surveyed more than 23,750 U.S. consumers between March 19 and May 1 about their feelings about some 600 big companies, in an effort to glean which companies consumers most trust, admire and respect.
