Information and Technology Minister, Telangana KT Rama Rao has laid the foundation stone today and henceforth the construction work will begin. The building is expected to be ready by 2019 and will be spacious to house around one thousand employees.
“We are extremely happy to see Telangana as Amazon’s destination of choice for their new campus. This new facility promises to add thousands of jobs and provide a fillip to the local economy.” KT Rama Rao was quoted by PTI as saying.
“Telangana has been home to our IT operations since 2005-06 and our presence in the state has grown multifold since then.
