Bernard Arnault, CEO of LVMH said on Thursday that the total sales figure of Christian Dior (parent company of LVMH) might reach 5 billion euros ($5.63 billion) this year.
Christian Dior Couture has reported a profit of 20 per cent compared to last year.
“The sales of Dior are starting to become quite significant… they could be more than 5 billion euros in 2016,” Arnault released a statement with his shareholders at annual general meeting in Paris, further quoted by Reuters as saying.
Dior Couture, the fashion segment of the brand also released a statement on Tuesday, where it declared a 1 per cent drop in sales in three months, which accounts for 429 million euros till March 31.
The drop was due to the decrease in tourist visits in Paris and the Asian markets.
