Zopo Mobiles, the Chinese mobile smartphone maker, has announced its next seasonal giveaway – the ‘Zopo Looton Month’ to tap into the upcoming festive season in India. The company is all set to hold a contest on Zopo India’s official Facebook to increase its brand engagement with the discerning consumers.
The contest that will go live from 30th September, 2016 will last for the entire month, and will include several offers for each week of the month.
Talking about the campaign, Founder and Chairman, Adcom (channel partner for Zopo Mobile in India) Sanjeev Bhatia, said, “To compete with the challenging market scenario, we have come up with many attractive and appealing offers which have never been launched at this mass level. We plan to target our broad customer group with a large scale approach, and penetrate the mobile & accessories segment significantly through exclusive offers like the Zopo ‘Looton’ month.”
To enter the contest, customers will have to follow/like Zopo India’s official Facebook page, engage with its posts, comment on those posts, and share their entry. They can also tag their friends to get an edge over other participants.
In the first week, winners will get merchandise giveaway like – exclusive Zopo bottles, caps, bags, key chains, t-shirts, batches, wrist bands, and much more. The second week offers will include – Adcom power banks, bluetooth speakers, headphones, etc., whereas in the third week, people stand a chance to win Zopo smartphones.
The bumper prize will be announced in the fourth week wherein three lucky winners, get a chance to win an exclusive trip to Singapore, a bike and a car.
To register for the bumper prize, customers can buy any Zopo smartphone from the nearest retail shop or simply purchase it online between 30th September, 2016 and 31st October, 2016. Once the purchase is made, the company will automatically receive their IMEI number in its database. The three lucky winners will be determined through random IMEI numbers that will be picked and announced via Facebook Live.
Zopo Mobile entered the India in 2015 and is the first company to manufacture and deliver to China and India markets a smartphone with Linux Sailfish OS, the operating system licensed from its Finnish developer Jolla.
In 2016-17, the company plans to majorly focus on the Indian market and other emerging markets, as these markets’ information technology and services are in rapid development, thus promoting the rapid popularisation and upgrading of mobile phones and other intelligent devices.
