American quick service sandwich chain Subway has become the first and only fast food store serving at Rashtrapati Bhavan. The outlet has opened at the Clock Tower area of the President’s Estate and will cater to the visitors to the Rashtrapati Bhavan museum.
Country Head, Subway Systems, Ranjit Talwar said, “Our focus on customisation enables us to innovate and create new products inspired from local Indian flavours. It is gratifying that the Rashtrapati Bhavan authorities have given Subway this opportunity.”
Subway, in India since 2001, has an existing store strength of 580 restaurants across over 70 cities.
“The restaurant will serve wholesome food to visitors at the Rashtrapati Bhavan museum,” Director, Rashtrapati Bhavan, Niranjan Kumar Sudhanshu added.
