Helios, multi-brand premium watch retailer from Titan Company limited, has recently partnered with Swiss watchmaker Raymond Weil to offer its watches in India.
Through this strategic partnership, Raymond Weil will be exclusively retailed in India through Helios along with another retailer for luxury watches ‘Ethos’.
It’s the first time the Swiss watchmaker is entering into an exclusive retail partnership in India. It has been retailing in India for 30 years now.
With this partnership, Raymond Weil, which used to be sold by multiple retailers including e-commerce marketplaces, will now be available only at Helios and Ethos showrooms in India.
“If you look at the contribution of Swiss brandsit is somewhere in the range of about 25 to 30 per cent today. We want to scale that up, and specifically the affordable luxury brand’s sales are expected to double over next three to four years,” Titan Company Limited CEO (Watches and Accessories) S Ravi Kant was quoted as saying by PTI.
“Today we are taking an important step in that direction…At Helios, we are always looking to partner with brands that share our passion for craftsmanship and synergy with Raymond Weil…(which) is a testament to this cause,” he said.
Raymond Weil President Olivier Bernheim said the reason for the partnership is to have a quality distribution network in the country for their products.
“Our aim is to build in India and to partner with the same kind of quality we think we have in United States, England, Australia and Spain, where we see trained and educated sales staff who are coherent with our strategy.”
The company has presence in about 110 countries.
