AmazonFresh grocery delivery service expanded to Dallas, Chicago

Must Read

Amazon has announced that it’s launching its grocery delivery service in Chicago and Dallas, the latest in a line of expansions for the service in recent times.
The AmazonFresh service allows customers to order from a wide range of grocery, health and beauty merchandise and household goods, and then choose either same-day or next-day delivery. Shoppers also have the option to have attended or unattended delivery, according to a company statement.
AmazonFresh had a very successful Beta launch in 2007 in Mercer Island, Washington. Since then, it has slowly expanded to Seattle, Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, New York, Philadelphia, and Sacramento, to name a few areas, over a period of eight years.
In 2016, Amazon amped up its market launches, bringing the service to Boston, Northern Virginia, Baltimore, and to London — its first international launch. The service has also expanded within other markets where it was already available.
AmazonFresh also offers products from popular local shops and restaurants in each region through the Local Market program. In Chicago, merchants include Local Foods, Irv & Shelly’s Fresh Picks, Lillie’s Q and more.
