CAIT to launch GST awareness campaign for traders

The Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) is planning to launch a massive educational and awareness campaign on GST throughout the Country, begging 9th November from Mumbai, to impart knowledge among traders about e-compliance.

CAIT has join hands with Tally Solutions, a premier Indian software product Company to impart technology knowledge to traders during this campaign. In this first phase, CAIT & Tally will hold 33 Conferences on GST in various States of the Country till 20th December, 2016.
Beside Mumbai CAIT will hold conferences in cities like New Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangluru, Ahmadabad, Kanpur, Jaipur, Nagpur, Rourkela, Bhuvneshwar, Ranchi, Raipur, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Bhopal, Indore, Chandigarh, Pune, Cochin etc.

“The series of GST Conference is an attempt to train and educate the trading community on GST compliance and its seamless adoption. We want to raise awareness of the procedural compliance under the new taxation system and how traders can embrace technology for easy compliance of GST,” CAIT National President B.C.Bhartia and Secretary General Mr. Praveen Khandelwal said in a press release.
During the campaign, CAIT would be reaching out to over thousands of trade associations, Federations & Chambers across the Country and will also involve national organisations of different verticals from the non-corporate sector.
“The idea is to train Master Trainers in every State who in turn will train traders in their respective states. , gradually spanning to cover even the smallest hubs,” CAIT said.
