Second oldest Swiss watch brand Favre-Leuba launched in India

Favre-Leuba, the second oldest Swiss watch brand, with its rich heritage and legendary watches, will celebrate its debut in India in December 2016, where the new 2016-17 collection will be unveiled.
The brand will initially be distributed in India through select Ethos retail outlets. Thereafter, the collec­tion will be launched across the subcontinent as well as in Middle East, Asian economies such as Taiwan and Hong Kong as well as the established watch markets such as Switzerland, Germany, and Austria.
Favre-Leuba was acquired by the Titan Company Limited, on November 16, 2011. The Indian watch giant is pursuing a long-term, sustainable strategy. To stay true to the brands legendary past, a team of experts from designing, engineering, sales and marketing of timepieces are based in and leading the brand from Switzerland.
Favre-Leuba has a history spanning over 279 years characterized by defiance, endurance and an uncompromising, pioneering spirit.
Building on this strong foundation, Abraham Favre’s small workshop in Le Locle, that was first officially mentioned in 1737, has developed into a renowned watch manufacture.
From the very early on, Favre-Leuba successfully expanded into distant markets such as Brazil, Chile, India, and the United States, setting new standards for and in the watch industry with numerous innovative and technically outstanding developments.
The brand’s timepieces are known around the world for their high functionality, accuracy and reliability under all climatic conditions.
