Bengaluru: Adidas Originals, a designer and manufacturer of sporting goods, launched a new 2023 concept store in Bengaluru to strengthen its brick-and-mortar retail presence in South India, the brand announced through a LinkedIn post. The outlet is situated at Forum Mall, South Bengaluru.
The store is aimed at transforming the street-style space in the city by providing access to the brand’s own collections and limited-edition collaborations. Equipped with various digital touchpoints, it offers a seamless consumer experience.
Along with housing Adidas Originals’ clothing, footwear, and accessories lines, the store will also host exclusive Adidas global creator lines including Ivy Park by Beyonce, Pharrell Williams, and Jeremy Scott among others.
Adidas opened its first concept retail store in the city at Brigade Road in August 2022. The 3,140 sq ft store was the largest Adidas store in India to date.
Adidas AG is a German manufacturer of athletic shoes, apparel, and sporting goods. Headquartered in Herzogenaurach, the sportswear brand was founded by Adolf Dassler in 1949. Adidas Originals, a subdivision of Adidas dedicated to lifestyle, fashion, and heritage products was launched in 2001.
In the third quarter of FY 2022, Adidas reported revenue growth of 11% to €6.408 billion compared to €5.75 billion in the corresponding period of the prior year and the brand’s currency-neutral revenues increased by 4%.
