Amama plans to utilize the $250,000 raised to boost its digital presence
New Delhi: Amama, a high-end designer jewellery brand, recently raised seed funding of $250,000 from She Capital, an early-stage diversity fund focuses on investing in consumer tech startups led by women.
The brand aims to utilise these funds to boost its digital presence andupgrade its logistics and operations using technology.
With a team of approximately 80 members, Amama is expanding in India and plans to expand to the international market as well. It also aims to launch its accessory line.
Founded in 2018, Amama Jewellery is a designer and manufacturer of premium fashion jewellery for women. The brand boasts a high-profile celebrity clientele including Alia Bhatt, Masaba Gupta, Jacquline Fernandez, Kriti Sanon, Nora Fatehi, MasoomMinawala, and Komal Pandey among others.
She Capital is an early-stage fund focused on the next generation of high-growth female-led/ focused businesses. Its investment in Amama its first time in the online jewellery space, which is slated to grow to $3.7 billion by 2025.
