Khadim India records a Cash PAT of Rs. 4.82 crore in Q3 FY23

Bengaluru: Khadim India Ltd., a homegrown footwear retailer, reported a Profit After Tax (PAT) of Rs. 4.82 crore for the third quarter (Q3) of the financial year (FY) 2023. The company’s Profit Before Tax (PBT) stood at Rs. 5.72 crore for the same quarter.

“The Company has achieved steady growth across both its businesses – retail and distribution during the nine-month period of the current fiscal. Alongside, to penetrate more into the target markets we continued to expand our retail footprint by opening 15 stores during the quarter that scaled up the total stores to 838 pan India,” said Indrajit Chaudhuri, chief financial officer of Khadim India Ltd.

Khadim India’s revenue from operations for the third quarter of FY23 was Rs. 148.95 crore. The company’s EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortisation) for the quarter stood at Rs. 16.75 crore with a margin of 11.25%. Also, the brand added 15 new stores across the country in Q3 FY23.

“The company witnessed healthy growth and improved sales backed by the continued festive season resulting the brand to register positive performance during the 9 months period of the financial year 2022-23,” the brand stated in a press release.

The footwear company also announced its financial results for the nine months ended 31 December of the fiscal year 2023. Profit After Tax (PAT) stood at Rs. 13.20 crore, while Profit Before Tax (PBT) stood at Rs. 17.45 crore in 9M FY23.

The company’s revenues from operations for the nine months ended 31 December 2022 was Rs. 501.06 crore recording a growth of 15%. Also, its EBITDA for 9M FY23 stood at Rs. 56.12 crore with a growth of 61% over the corresponding period of the last fiscal. The retailer opened 73 new stores in 9M FY23.

Headquartered in Kolkata, Khadim India Ltd. was founded in the 1960s. The company is engaged in the retail and distribution of footwear and accessories. Since its launch, the footwear retailer has expanded its reach across 23 States and 1 Union Territory through 838 retail stores.
