With the new appointment, the company that owns Medimix and Cuticura aims to achieve a Rs 1,000 crore turnover in the next 4-5 years
Bengaluru: Cholayil Private Ltd, the parent company of household brands Medimix and Cuticura, announced the appointment of Anupam Katheriya as the new chief executive officer. With the recent appointment, the company aims to achieve a Rs1,000 crore turnover in the next 4-5 years.
“We want to become a wholistic personal care company and we are confident that with his wide experience, Anupam will help us grow our omnichannel brand presence and help take our purpose forward across various consumer touchpoints,” said Pradeep Cholayil, managing director of Cholayil Private Ltd.
“We aspire to achieve a Rs1,000 crore turnover in the near term for which we are investing in our brands, people, processes and infrastructure. Anupam will enable the growth by identifying the right financial sources and lead business transformation,” Cholayil added.
Katheriya has over two decades of experience in the consumer goods industry and worked in leadership positions at multinational brands like Heinz, Nestle and Emami.

Kerala-based Cholayil Pvt. Ltd. was founded in 1969 with the launch of an ayurvedic soap Medimix and in 2001 the company acquired the Cuticura brand from Muller and Phipps.
Currently, Cholayil Pvt. Ltd. has a global footprint with a presence in more than 35 countries across the world.
