QSR chain expands to Northeast India with its latest outlet in Bharalmukh, Assam spread across an area of 350 sq. ft.
New Delhi: Quick service restaurant (QSR) chain Fat Tiger inaugurated its first franchise-owned restaurant in Assam. The brand’s latest outlet is spread across an area of 350 sq. ft. and is located at A T Road, Bharalumukh in the Kamrup Metropolitan District of Assam, the brand said in a release.
Fat Tiger offers momos, burgers, fries, pizza, desserts and beverages including internationally acclaimed teas and nutritious meals. The brand’s target audiences are youth, families, students and people who relish Pan-Asian cuisine.
The brand’s latest outlet features a modern interior, with plenty of comfortable seating options for dine-in customers. In addition, the outlet also offers takeout and delivery options for those on the go.

The brand has been on an expansion spree with at least one store opening every month. Recently, it opened stores in Chandigarh, Guwahati, Kolkata, Bhubaneswar and Lucknow.
The food chain plans to open over 200 offline outlets across the country in the forthcoming 30 months and currently stands with 52 outlets in over 22 cities in India, the release said.
The brand’s first outlet opened in 2019 with the goal of reinventing the notion of tea in India by introducing international flavoured hits.
