Bengaluru: Pizza restaurant chain Domino’s has launched a 20-minute delivery guarantee service in Bengaluru, a top company official announced in a social media post. Bengaluru is the first city to experience this service.

The 20-minute delivery will be available at 170 Domino’s stores across Bengaluru.

“Through our store-densification program, technology, and use of data and insights, Bengaluru is the first city in the world within Domino’s business to offer 20-minute service promise. It will allow us to serve hottest, freshest and tastiest pizzas to our customers. Super proud of my team in Bengaluru,” said Sameer Khetarpal, chief executive officer at Jubilant FoodWorks Ltd. in a LinkedIn post.

Headquartered in Michigan, the multinational pizza restaurant chain was founded by brothers Tom and Jim Monaghan in 1960.

Indian food service company Jubilant FoodWorks Ltd holds the franchise rights from Domino’s Pizza Inc. since 1995 to develop and operate the Domino’s Pizza brand in India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. Currently, the QSR (quick service restaurant) chain operates over 1,760 Domino’s restaurants in 387 cities across the country.
