The new store will cater to the customers in Dwarka suburbs who otherwise had to travel to nearby Gurugram to shop at H&M
New Delhi: H&M has opened a new store in Vegas Mall in Dwarka, the ninth store in the Delhi National Capital Region.
The new outlet located at in Pocket 1, Sector 14 Dwarka is spread across an area of 16,772 sq. ft spanning two floors.
The ground floor of the store is dedicated to women’s wear and the first floor split in half for men’s wear and kid’s wear.
The global apparel brand is offering a variety of formal wear, basic wear, accessories, party wear at the store.
The highlight of the brand’s latest store is launch in India of H&M’s nail polish line. The nail polish line is currently available only in stores and not on the company’s India app and its webstore.
In the mint-fresh Dwarka store, the nail polish collection was stacked on a fancy shelf, displaying a wide variety of shades. The collection is placed right beside the billing counter, positioning in a way to catch attention of customers while checking out.
The shades available included nudes, chrome, vibrant and much more and the prices for them started from Rs 299 to Rs 399.
On Saturday, H&M welcomed its customers with a red carpeted entrance and a colour coordinated apparel display. The store was like a burst of colours as the brand launched the store featuring its new exclusive line for India, ‘Colorburst’.
The Sweden brand’s new line includes spring like tropical hues and bold prints at price points starting at Rs 299 for kids, Rs 399 for women and Rs 599 for men.
When it comes to the interior of the store, the brand has gone all out in comparison to its existing stores in Delhi NCR as at the new outlet the trial rooms are well lit and spacious with a call button, if consumers seek any assistance from the shop’s staff.

Recently, H&M launched H&M Home in India, but it hasn’t launched the same with its new store at the Vegas mall.
“We do have plans to open H&M home but we want to see the performance, basis which we will be looking at offering them a home store as well. That is surely on the pipeline,” said Ravinder Choudhary, assistant vice president of Vegas Mall.
The launch of H&M’s new store at the Vegas mall has made shopping convenient for the residents of Dwarka, as earlier they had to travel all the way to Gurugram for shopping at H&M but now customers seemed happy with the brand coming closer to their homes, saving them a lot of travel time.
“Earlier we had to travel so far for H&M, but thanks to Vegas mall now it’s right outside our house,” said a customer shopping at the new store.
The Sweden fashion brand that entered the Indian market eight years ago, now stands with fifty stores across twenty six cities in the country and it also offers online shopping experience through its website, app and also through fashion e-commerce company Myntra.
