Consumer goods major, Colgate Palmolive India, has received the judicial approval to merge its wholly-owned subsidiary, CC Health Care Products, a Hyderabad-based tooth powder maker, with itself. The High Court of Judicature at Andhra Pradesh has sanctioned the scheme of amalgamation of CC Health Care Products in a filing to Bombay Stock Exchange. This move from Colgate is expected to boost the company’s share price.
