Spar, a licence agreement between Dubai-based Landmark Group’s Max Hypermarkets and Spar International, an international food retail chain in the first phase of expansion, is setting up a 50,000 square feet hypermarket in Delhi. The store will debut on January 19 at Pacific Mall, Rajouri Garden and another one in Metropolis mall in Gurgaon (NCR). The company, which has five stores sized between 30,000 and 70,000 square feet, plans to set up 30 such stores by 2013.
