Sohum Spa and Wellness sanctuary opened its flagship location in Mumbai in February. The 11,000 square foot spa is spread over three floors with a picturesque gabana in the lawn for reflexology treatments. Located on the premises of the Juhu Vile Parle Sports Club, the spa reception area has a narrow waterway
leading to a pond outside. This is allegorical for the Self, going through the maze of life and integrating with the universe. The spa is like that too: intense and filled with spiritual depths. The eight rooms are tastefully done with the unique provision of pure oxygen flowing through each of the rooms. The second spa in Koregaon Park, Pune provides more of the same, opened in May.
Owned by the Core Wellness Ltd group, plans are to invest
Rs 2.5 crores in each spa, with more standalone spas in Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata and Hyderabad.
Color combination: Contemporary, earthy tones, dark browns
