Piramyd Retail sales revenue up by 42 per cent

Piramyd Retail Limited, a part of the Ashok Piramal Group has registered gross sales of Rs.41.2 crore in third quarter of the current financial year – an increase of 42 per cent as compared to Q3 sales of last year, said its unaudited financial results for the third quarter ended December 31, 2006.

The company has prominent presence in the two segments – Lifestyle Retail (via Piramyd Megastore) and Food, Home and Personal Care (through TruMart). The company’s operations are spread across 4, 56, 000 sq.ft with seven Piramyd Megastores and 18 TruMart stores across India.
