The story of Carrefour’s Indian partner just took another turn, when it was learnt through sources that the French retailer is in talks with HDFC group, over a possible tie-up.
If the said deal goes through, it is believed that HDFC may come out with a separate company, which would help a third entity to get the franchising rights for Carrefour’s India operation.
