The beauty business is estimated to be around Rs. 16,000 crore in India. It has made all the major players in the world to sit-up and take notice. The Paris-based salon chain, Jean-Claude Biguine (JCB), is probably the first multi-national salon to set up a shop in the country.
It will roll out its outlets in New Delhi and Mumbai initially. With the help of its fully-owned Indian subsidiary, JCB Salons India Pvt Ltd, the company is planning to open eight salons (four in each city).
