Khaitan Electricals is planning to start manufacturing non-electrical consumer products. In addition to this, it will also roll out over 200 exclusive Khaitan City outlets across the country by the end of 2007. It plans to launch whole new range of products like pressure cookers, rice cookers and food processor to increase its market presence.
The company’s biggest money spinner is its fans business, where it has over 14 per cent market share. The company is looking to take its turnover to over Rs 500 crore with the help of exports and new products.
