The newly introduced shopping catalogue from Croma, the electronics retail brand from Infiniti Retail Ltd, is gaining popularity. The catalogue has contributed 10 per cent rise in the total sales of the company and is expected to increase the share.
“We had recently launched the shopping catalogue, which is available through Times of India. The trend of shopping through a catalogue is being well adapted as is visible through our sales graph, where 10 per cent contribution has come from the catalogue. It will grow further and gain more popularity as the company is in talks with other national dailies as well,” Ajit Joshi, CEO, Infiniti Retail, told media on the sidelines of the 9th Marketing & Retail Conclave organised by Technopak.
Joshi confirmed that the products and brands sold through Croma catalogue are different from those in Croma stores, and the company will extend the portfolio of catalogue products in future. Croma has also major expansion plans for this fiscal, and is hoping to open 16 more Croma outlets by April 2008.
