Admissions are open for six industry-based courses for the forthcoming session at Chennai-based Apparel Training and Design Centre (ATDC). The courses are scheduled to commence from July 2008.
The course curriculum has been designed keeping in mind the readymade garment industry’s demand and includes draping, pattern construction, grading production development, construction techniques, clothing technology, fabric studies, quality control, production system, and finishing & packing.
ATDC is sponsored by Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC) under ministry of textiles, Government of India, and emphasises the development of skills with understanding and ability to perform as an effective addition to the workforce.
