Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has updated the syllabus of its retail management course.
Announcing this to the media at its regional centre, Ranchi, DK Choudhary, pro vice-chancellor of IGNOU, said that these courses will help students to be at par with students from other developed countries.
Distributing the study material to the students, Choudhary said, “The syllabus and the study material were not updated. Now, we have got fresh material from New Delhi. All the students pursuing the course will get new study material.”
Besides, from now onwards, students can also take admissions any time of the year. Previously, students were admitted in January or July. “There is no time-frame. Under the new system, students can take admission on any day in the year,” informed Choudhary.
