Jitendra Chauhan, chairman and managing director of menswear retail store JadeBlue, has been named the AMA Atlas Dyechem-Outstanding Entrepreneur of the Year.
This award comes as recognition of Chauhan’s efforts to make JadeBlue a distinguished menswear store in India. JadeBlue currently operates stores in cities including Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara and Rajkot.
Chauhan, is also credited for creating Greenfibre brand which is targeted at working professionals and young entrepreneurs. Greenfibre operates four stores in Ahmedabad, two in Vadodara and one each in Gandhidham, Bharuch, Rajkot, and Junagadh.
The award is sponsored by the Ahmedabad Management Association (AMA) with an objective to recognise the significant contributions made by a person in managerial profession; to motivate upcoming professionals and enhance the prestige of the profession by enabling them to exercise their skills and competencies in the best possible manner; and to directly or indirectly contribute towards the improvement of managerial effectiveness in different spheres.
