Greg Norman Collection will also be retailed through Planet Sports as the sports lifestyle retail chain of Future Group has entered into a strategic tie-up with Gurgaon-based Better Than Before (BTB). BTB is the sole licensee of Greg Norman in India.
According to the tie-up, the entire range of Greg Norman will be retailed through Planet Sports stores in cities including Chandigarh, Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Gurgaon and Kolkata. However, the brand will also continue to sell through its exclusive brand outlet in Gurgaon.
Speaking to media, Rahul Singh, CEO, Better Than Before (BTB), said: “This agreement aligns two powerful brands that stand for performance and edge in sports clothing. This fits well with our strategy to partner with leading sports lifestyle retail formats to further our reach throughout the Indian market.”
Besides, BTB plans to open 10 exclusive Greg Norman Collection outlets by the end of this year and take the number to 50 in the next five years. BTB is also planning to introduce MacGregor golf equipments in India through golf course pro-shops and sport speciality stores.
