Vimal, the flagship textile brand of Reliance Industries Limited has opened a factory outlet at Nagpur today. Vimal’s first factory outlet was opened in Ahmedabad earlier this month.
Spread over 1400 square feet, the store will retail a range of product categories including fabrics, apparel and accessories.
Speaking at the launch, S Padmanabhan, COO, textile business said, “In order to make the Vimal brand contemporary and relevant to the present day Indian consumer, we have worked closely on every aspect of the brand – the product range, the season’s collections, the advertising and the retail ambience, all of which will play a major role in recreating the magic of the iconic brand.”
Meanwhile, Italy’s well-known fashion designer and president of the ‘Made in Italy’ committee, Maurizio Bonas, is working with Vimal as a consultant and is helping in developing the apparel and fabric collections at Vimal.
