With the launch of its boutique at The Collection mall in UB City, Bengaluru, British designer brand Paul Smith opened its second shop in India.
“I have been visiting India for many years and as a country it never ceases to amaze me, full of extremes. I love the energy and vibrancy of its handicrafts, embroidery, hand weaving. The country has changed enormously, and so many people now are travelling from India around the world. With all of this in mind, I am delighted to be able to open two shops in this amazing country,” said Sir Paul Smith.
Spanning 1,100 square feet of space, the store follows the format of a classic British feel with wooden interiors. The brand’s sub-labels including Paul Smith London, Paul Smith PS, and Paul Smith Jeans will be available at the Bengaluru outlet.
The launch evening, hosted by Sanjay Kapoor, MD, Genesis Luxury Pvt. Ltd, witnessed unveiling of the ‘to be launched’ Paul Smith AW’08 collection.
