The Chennai-based TVH Consumer Products Private Ltd (TCPPL), which is the distributor of Japanese sanitary products ‘Toto’ in Tamil Nadu, has launched an exclusive showroom ‘Personal Space’ in the city to retail the entire Toto portfolio.
Speaking at the launch, Kazuo Watanabe, president, Toto Asia Oceania Pte Ltd, said: “This is the company’s 10th showroom in the country and we will open six more during this year. Besides, the products will also be retailed through 50 dealers.”
The company is also planning to launch a manufacturing plant in India as it expects to cross an annual turnover of Rs 700 crore, up from its reported turnover of Rs 200 crore in ’08 fiscal.
