Digital technology major Samsung India has announced the appointment of Olympic gold medalist Abhinav Bindra as brand ambassador for its consumer electronics business in India.
While making the announcement, HB Lee, president & CEO, SAMSUNG South West Asia headquarters, said, “We are indeed very proud and privileged to have him as our brand ambassador for the consumer electronics business.”
The company plans to leverage Bindra in its brand advertising as well as product advertising for consumer electronics. SAMSUNG will unveil its first product ad campaign with Bindra for LCD TVs.
“With Abhinav Bindra as our brand ambassador, we will further strengthen our position in the Indian market.” states R Zutshi, deputy managing director, Samsung India Electronics.
