With 32 functional outlets in the national capital and NCR, the country’s pioneer in drycleaning and laundry retail chain Wardrobe plans to take their store count to 100, said a top company official.
The proposed expansion plan would witness an initial investment of Rs 1.5 billion.
“While the upcoming outlets will be company-owned, we are also working on a plan to adopt the franchisee mode,” said Dr A Srivastava, executive director, Wardrobe, during an interview with IndiaRetailing.
“With upper middle class as our target consumers, we plan to expand in the metros in the first phase of our expansion plan. However, the company will soon mark its presence in tier II and tier III cities too,” added Srivastava.
