After stepping its foot recently in Hyderabad with a new three-screen multiplex, Kanakia Group-promoted Cinemax India has opened a two-screen multiplex in Thane, Maharastra. Located at Spring Avenue, Khadakpada, Kalyan (West), Thane, the multiplex kicked off with Akshay Kumar and Deepika Padukone starrer Chandni Chowk To China.
The new Cinemax multiplex is having a capacity of 479 seats including 16 recliner seats, informed the Mumbai-based company through its latest disclosure to Bombay Stock Exchange.
With the opening of the screen, the company will have total 25 theater properties, 74 screens and 20305 seats in total.
