Bharti Wal-Mart, the JV formed between Bharti Enterprises and Wal-Mart for cash-and-carry business, plans to open its three C&C store — BestPrice Modern Wholesale stores in this year. The first two stores will be opened in Chandigarh and Amritsar in Punjab, while the location of the third store is yet to be finalised, according to media reports.
“One store (each) will come up in Chandigarh and Amritsar, while the location of the third is being looked at,” quoted Rajan Mittal, MD, Bharti Enterprises in the reports.
Currently, the company operates one such store in Ludhiana, Punjab.
