Kishore Biyani-led Future Group is in talks with Kolkata-based apparel maker Turtle Group to buy a stake in the company and will soon finalise the deal, according to media reports.
“Yes, some discussions are going on. However, at this moment I cannot give more details in this regard,” quoted Biyani in the report.
The report further quoted Amit Ladsaria, Turtle Group director saying: “We are in advanced stages of negotiations and are hopeful of concluding them in another three to four weeks.”
Turtle Group currently operates 32 exclusive outlets across the country in cities including Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Bhubaneshwar and Guwahati and also has presence in over 1,200 multi-brand outlets.
